Switching Hotels Between Disney and Universal: How to Move Your Family and Bags

Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando are about 10 to 15 miles apart, but Disney's free buses only run between Disney's own parks, hotels and Disney Springs. The easiest way to switch resorts is a private ride that picks up your family and all your luggage at one hotel and drops you at the next, with car seats installed if you need them.

Disney's complimentary buses serve its theme parks, water parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. Universal isn't on the network, so moving day needs a ride of its own.
